Netflix’s hit series “YOU” is back for it’s 4th season and with the show returning, the cast is back doing press interviews!
In one of “YOU” Star Penn Badgley interviews, the star was bold enough to call out Netflix and rightfully diss them for their Jeffrey Dahmer series.
The series premiered September 21st and was Created by Executive Producers: Ryan Murphy, Ian Brennan, Alexis Martin Woodall, Eric Kovtun, Evan Peters, Janet Mock, and Carl Franklin.
Starring: Evan Peters (Jeffrey Dahmer), Richard Jenkins (Lionel Dahmer), Molly Ringwald (Shari Dahmer), Michael Learned (Catherine Dahmer), and Niecy Nash (Glenda Cleveland)
The series ended up crossing the 1 billion hour viewing mark within 60 days, and only the second ever English Language series to do so. The show spent seven weeks on the Netflix Global Top 10 and reached the Top 10 in 92 countries.
Penn is pointing out the wrongdoings of airing the program:
“You need to look inside… With our show, you’re meant to fall in love with him, that’s on us. Ted Bundy? That’s on you. Jeffrey Dahmer? That’s on Netflix. That is squarely on the shoulders of Netflix.”
Do you agree?
